Limited just wont cut it anymore. Sneskers gotta be ultra exclusive to get any attention. But what does that mean for ur pockets?

Now that everyone with a pair or Jordans or SB Dunks is calling themselves sneakerheads, many sneaker companies are having field day with pricing their exclusive merchandise. As a result, sneakerheads have to cough up as much as $1000 to cop tha rarest of kicks. A pair of authentic What The Dunks by Nike SB could net up to $1,400 and that's if they.aren't deadstock. While sky high prices are often caused by limited availability, other factors can be tha companies who are collaborating to make tha sneaker. For instance, tha dunk SB Tiffany, a collab between Nike and skateboarding co. 5iamond Supply, are priced high for all tha above.
However, now that "amatuer" buyers are copping at Clientele and Flight Club, off tha wall exclusives just aren't going to get tha same amount of attention. In Americas consumer driven society, there's always a higher level of luxury to attain. Which means high priced exclusives are replacing tha more generally released semi exclusives. "Its that drive to be socially mobile. Or atleast appear to be so by dressing accordingly" -Chris Gibbs.
